ICMG UK Enfield Branch Women's Department Organised a Cemetery Visit Programme

The ICMG UK Enfield Branch Women's Department organised a special Cemetery Visit Programme to strengthen spiritual awareness and encourage remembrance of the Hereafter among its members.

Participants gathered at the designated meeting point before visiting the cemetery, where they took part in Qur'an recitation, collective du'a (supplication) and prayers for deceased family members, relatives and all believing men and women.

Throughout the programme, attendees were reminded of the temporary nature of worldly life, the certainty of death and the importance of preparing for the Hereafter. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity for reflection, remembrance and spiritual renewal.

The programme also highlighted the saying of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ:

"Visit the graves, for they remind you of the Hereafter." (Jami' al-Tirmidhi)

The cemetery visit offered participants a meaningful opportunity to pray for those who had passed away, reflect on their own lives and strengthen their connection with Allah through remembrance and supplication.

ICMG UK Enfield Branch Women's Department expressed its appreciation to everyone who participated and emphasised the importance of organising such programmes to preserve spiritual awareness, strengthen community bonds and keep the remembrance of the Hereafter alive within the community.
